A few weeks ago I published how you can find a Rockstar iOS Developer using the Haystack Method.

When you are looking for developers on oDesk, Elance and the other big sites, the issue is that the vast majority of developers either do not have the skills you are looking for, or they are trying to take advantage of your inexperience by charging crazy prices.

So I created the Haystack Method – a simple, 7 step PROVEN way to eliminate the vast majority of time and money wasters who reply back to your ad.

Lots of our community have been trying this out, so here area selection of the results. Just shows they have a sense of humor anyway! (Useful tip: Integrating RevMob or Chartboost into an app should take no longer than 30 mins max.)

This is the best. I never thought to take screenshots, I just did this with about 15 developers yesterday, specifically because of this post. The other thing I do is ask them to put “Strawberry” in a sentence. This shows me who actually read my job description and can follow basic instructions.
One agency when I said I could do it in 15 minutes responded that was nice and he would try getting it done in 8 hours. Ha ha ha. Anyhow thanks for these posts, I really appreciate the effort and energy you put in to helping complete strangers.
